The successful candidate will join a supportive school where we invest in our staff and create skilled class teams. This role could lead to the opportunity of further professional development to train as a Senior TA or HLTA. Key tasks are to: support, and develop, the educational environment for the students; to include developing their curriculum skills, social skills, and personal development; to provide a safe environment, emotionally and physically, for the students within the guidelines and procedures of the school. Experience in working with children, and Level 2 qualifications (GCSE or equivalent) in English and Mathematics are highly desirable.

Parkwood Hall is day school for pupils aged 8-19 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties, and other diverse and complex needs. The pupils here are an inspiration to us all.
