Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA)? Or are you thinking about becoming a teacher? This role is for a TA who will join our lovely Reception/Year 1 team.

The staff are relentlessly focusing on teaching and learning, striving for excellence now and in the future. To be successful in gaining this post, we require someone who can become immersed in a ‘can-do culture’ where nothing is seen by pupils or teaching staff as a potential barrier to successful learning.

We require a Teaching Assistant with good communication skills, a welcoming and friendly approach, and a high level of professionalism, while being able to relate well to both children and adults. This is an important post in the school, and we want a reliable, well-organised, adaptable, caring person with, most importantly, a sense of humour.

We would prefer to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate with good standards of literacy and numeracy skills. Your role will be to support pupils' learning and play a key role in their development, working closely with the class teacher to implement interventions and targeted group work. A good understanding of how to support children with any SEMH needs is essential.

We can offer you an enthusiastic and committed team within a friendly school community!

This post is temporary in the first instance but has the potential to become permanent.

If you are interested in this position and would like further information, please contact Julie Cornish, Head of School on 01603 712597 or by email office@brundall.norfolk.sch.uk Visits are welcome.
