What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit suitable applicants, who if successful, will be required to provide support to individual students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP's) some of which are part of the Student Support Centre so they have social communication difficulties, including some with Autism. You may also be supporting small groups of students or working in whole class settings across the curriculum.
Experience of working with young people with social communication, speech and language difficulties and/or visual or hearing impairments would be desirable, although not essential. We are looking for passionate and professional people who have a strong desire to support young people overcome their barriers to learning. Candidates must have a high standard of communication, numeracy and literacy and be able to promote these effectively, and should be able to work efficiently with our teaching staff to ensure we deliver outstanding academic outcomes for our young people.
If you feel you have the passion and desire to really make a difference to a young person's educational experience, we would love you to apply.
