Teaching Assistant job summary

The Governors are currently looking for a high-calibre individual who enjoys working with and supporting pupils in Key Stage 1. The post is for a Teaching Assistant in KS1 working part time Monday to Wednesday 8:30am - 3.15pm.

The school is part of the Diocese of Westminster (DOWAT). The successful candidate will need to be able to develop good relationships with children and staff. The role will involve supporting within the classroom. You will need to be able to follow advice and apply strategies consistently. Our ideal candidate will be nurturing, ambitious and passionate about inspiring and supporting children to develop and learn. They must be able to use their own initiative and demonstrate a calm, patient and kind approach.

Salary is dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience. H2 (Scale Point 3-5) £24,796 - £25,583 pro-rata (April 2025).
