  • Salary - Scale D £25,989 - £26,403 FTE (£13.47 to £13.68/hr)
  • Temporary until 31 August 2027 in the first instance, possibility of continuation

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring SEND 1 to 1 teaching assistant to join our team. Hours of work, 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (30 minute unpaid lunch).

We are looking for someone who:

  • is reliable, hardworking and experienced in supporting SEN children in their learning
  • is able to support children with additional needs, supporting learners in class who have
  • an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
  • is able to quickly establish positive relationships with children, built on mutual respect
  • has a strong understanding of how to encourage independent learning
  • has high expectations of behaviour 
  • is able to support an SEN pupil at lunchtimes
  • has good Literacy and Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
  • is willing to contribute to the wider community of the school
