We are looking for an experienced and inspiring SEND 1 to 1 teaching assistant to join our team. Hours of work, 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (30 minute unpaid lunch).
We are looking for someone who:
- is reliable, hardworking and experienced in supporting SEN children in their learning
- is able to support children with additional needs, supporting learners in class who have
- an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
- is able to quickly establish positive relationships with children, built on mutual respect
- has a strong understanding of how to encourage independent learning
- has high expectations of behaviour
- is able to support an SEN pupil at lunchtimes
- has good Literacy and Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
- is willing to contribute to the wider community of the school
