What skills and experience we're looking for
- Support pupils individually or in small groups to engage with learning activities
- Assist with behaviour management, routines, and transitions to promote a positive and safe learning environment
- Help implement Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets under the guidance of teaching staff
- Observe and report on pupil progress and wellbeing, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENCO
- Support inclusion by encouraging participation in both curricular and extracurricular activities
- Assist with supervision during playtimes and lunchtimes, promoting social skills and positive interactions
- Contribute to maintaining a stimulating, safe, and well-organised learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development
