St. Edmund’s Catholic Academy is a wonderful and highly successful school where staff and students feel happy and safe and have a close working relationship. Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

We have very high expectations of manners, behaviour and relationships and these expectations create an environment where all can achieve their ambitions and aspirations. We are looking for the right person to make a positive impact upon the Academy community.

With a flexible approach, the successful candidate will:-

  • Work under the direction and guidance of teaching / senior staff to support groups and individuals in their learning.

  • Work across the academy to deliver specific intervention programmes, for which training will be provided.

  • Assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

  • You may also be required to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

  • Develop good relationships with staff, parents, carers and other professionals.

  • Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our Academies

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance.
