Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our caring and vibrant Catholic school community.

Our school is home to wonderful children from Nursery to Year 6, and we pride ourselves on being a friendly, sociable and highly supportive team. We are deeply committed to ensuring that every child achieves strong academic outcomes, while also nurturing their spiritual, emotional and personal development so that they can flourish across all areas of the curriculum.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children to thrive, able to work collaboratively with staff, and committed to contributing positively to a faith‑centered, inclusive environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

The post is 28.5 hours per week over 5 working days. There will be times when you will be required to work with individual children, small group and support whole classes.
