Job title: Teaching assistant (TA)

Salary: £17, 649 (£12.65 per hour/31.25 hours a week)

Contract type: Term Time/Fixed Term for a year with the vision of extending for the right candidate.

Reporting to: Class Teacher

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed person to undertake the role of Teaching Assistant. Please see the attached job description and person specification for more information.

Main purpose

The TA will:

  • Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
