What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing a great team which is centred around respect. The post will support our SEN needs across the school. The role would give you an opportunity to experience all aspects of school life, working with children in class, and outside in formal lessons and in more informal scenarios.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike.

St Michael’s CofE Primary Academy is a larger than average, primary school, located in Heavitree, Exeter and has been part of the local community for over 140 years. It is oversubscribed and is currently full with 420 pupils. The school is inclusive and as such, welcomes children with a range of needs and from a variety of backgrounds.
