About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced classroom Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role would be ideal for someone who already has experience of supporting key stage 1, within a busy classroom environment. The role is based in a truly wonderful school, where a strong sense of 'family' is at the heart of everything we do.
The candidate will be:
- Supporting individuals and groups of pupils to help them learn.
- Supporting teachers, parents and other colleagues to help create an effective, safe and purposeful, learning environment.
- Delivering and evaluating interventions e.g. 1 to 1 reading and phonics intervention.
- Providing intimate care to pupils as required.
The candidate will have:
- A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Experience of working in a school setting.
- Experience of working with children who have English as an additional language.
- A commitment to helping children.
- The ability to show initiative and adapt to the needs of the role.
- A willingness to work well as part of the team.
