Our Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work as part of our committed staff team for Reception and EYFS in the first instance. Hours of work, 08.30am – 3.30pm.
The successful applicants will:
- Have experience working with EYFS children.
- Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
- Have good mathematical and English skills
- Be able to form positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Be able to support the children within the class, during break times and around the school.
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
- Be able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
- Be willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
