Teaching Assistant
Part time across 5 mornings to include a Mealtime Assistant duty
To commence September 2025 - this is a fixed term temporary position to cover a Maternity Leave
There will be a requirement to perform a mealtime assistant duty on each day, so flexibility and adaptability is a preference. Please note this is a temporary post initially to cover a staff absence, but there is often the possibility of further roles across the Trust for experienced and skilled individuals, so future employment may be possible beyond this.
This role is to provide general class support across the school including delivering phonics, tailored interventions and small group work under the direction of the teacher. We are looking for an individual with a sensitive and nurturing approach to children's needs, who can be flexible, communicate effectively and think creatively. You will need to show a high degree of initiative and be solution focussed.

Ideally, you will:
Provide a sensitive and nurturing approach to children’s needs,
Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
Have excellent English and Maths skills;
Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
Be able to use your own initiative when required;
Have experience in a similar role in a school;
You should have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
