What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and caring teaching assistant to work flexibly and co-operatively within our Key Stage 1 and 2 classes. This position is until 31stAugust 2025 in the first instance and is for 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The position will also include a one hour lunch duty each day.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our happy, friendly primary school in the heart of Temple Ewell community.
Duties will include:
- supporting individual pupils and small groups in their learning,
- observing how pupils learn and assessing further learning needs,
- supporting the teacher with all aspects of children’s learning.

You will need to possess:
An NVQ Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or 2 GCSEs (A-C) passes (or equivalent) in English and Maths;
Recent relevant experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age, preferably within a school or Early Years setting.
A good understanding of the Key stage 1 and 2 Curriculum.
A commitment to working with parents as partners.
