Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We're looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our supportive team at The Rawlett School, in Tamworth.

You're someone who'll be able to:

* Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.

* Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

* Provide classroom support in partnership with teachers
Deliver interventions for groups of children or individuals independently

You're someone who has:

* Motivation and enthusiasm

* Understanding of pupil's learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.

* The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.

* Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.

* A level 2 qualification in a relevant subject is essential, level 3 is advantageous.
