We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our children in our beautiful small community school set in the most stunning setting. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable, be able to respond to the needs of our children and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and dedication. We believe the ability to form positive relationships with children is key. They should be able to work using their own initiative and bring forward ideas as well as follow planning given to meet the child’s needs. A good level of literacy, both written and spoken, will be required for this post. This role will include a range of roles including supporting the class, working 1:1 with children with additional needs and leading small group work. It would be advantageous to have an interest or skills in physical education and a knowledge of activities to promote this with primary aged children.
