Teaching Assistant Vacancies job summary
We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work within our fantastic school
We are looking for TAs to provide class and SEN support in KS1 and KS2. This may involve some one to one work. At present the posts are fixed term (September 2022 to July 2023), but there may be an opportunity for these to become permanent in the future.
The hours are 8.30am to 4pm (although the hours can be adapted if needed) and the pro rata salary is £15,282.

Omnia Learning Trust is a not-for-profit enterprise. The salary will be based on the NJC scale starting at point 3 (£18,887 FTE). All posts are paid for 44.6 weeks which includes all inset days and 32 days’ annual leave (pro rata).

The successful candidates will be:
• Experienced in working with children preferably in a Teaching Assistant role.
• Willing to work as part of a team and in partnership with the teacher.
• Experienced in supporting pupils with a range of needs and able to demonstrate understanding towards them. (For example: autism and learning difficulties).
• Ideally have first-hand experiences of running interventions.
The successful candidates will be class based and primarily work as support for children with special educational needs. The positions are full time and the hours of work are 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (term time only which includes 5 inset days). The posts include lunchtime cover from 12pm to 1pm supporting children outside and also supporting children in class with meal times.
