- Full time, part time: Full time 34 hours and 25 mins per week Monday to Wednesday 8.30am to 4pm Thursday & Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm Term Time plus 5 Inset days. Part time Part time days will be considered, above hours are mandatory, possible flexibility for 3pm finish on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri

What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be expected to support pupils under the direction of the Teacher and this may involve 1:1, small group or whole class support. Experience of working as a teaching assistant or within a Special School is not a pre-requisite for this position, but would be advantageous. An interest and enthusiasm for developing within this exciting, challenging and rewarding area of education is key.

Pinewood is a SEND Secondary School in Ware, Hertfordshire which provides education for students with a range of needs including Autism, Down’s Syndrome and other conditions that result in a developmental delay. We cater for roughly 210 pupils in School, years 7 to 11.
All our pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans.
