What skills and experience we're looking for

You will be expected to support pupils under the direction of the Teacher and this may involve 1:1, small group or whole class support. Experience of working as a teaching assistant or within a Special School is not a pre-requisite for this position, but would be advantageous. An interest and enthusiasm for developing within this exciting, challenging and rewarding area of education is key.

Pinewood is a SEND Secondary School in Ware, Hertfordshire which provides education for students with a range of needs including Autism, Down’s Syndrome and other conditions that result in a developmental delay. We cater for roughly 210 pupils in School, years 7 to 11.
