Teaching Assistant job summary

Waterbeach Community Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a strong team in EYFS and Year 1. The role will be for 30 hours per week, term time only, and will include both general TA and working 1-2-1- with high needs pupils.

The actual hours of work will be 08:30 - 15:15 with a 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break

We are looking for someone who:

• Is caring patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations
• Has a therapeutic approach to supporting pupil’s behaviour and learning
• Is able to support individual pupils 1:1
  
• Is able to lead interventions with individuals and groups of pupils
• Is proactive, highly motivated and a good team player

Salary details:

Teaching Assistant - Level 2, Scale point 5, starting at £14.63 per hour
