What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to work under the guidance of class teachers, to assist pupils or small groups, including pupils with SEN with their learning and general needs.

Relevant qualifications (NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Applicants are advised to ensure they state all qualifications on the application form including GCSE’s / A’Levels / Degree.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • an outstanding classroom practitioner;

  • able to engage and motivate all learners;
  • is willing to work with a team who ‘go the extra mile’ for children;
  • committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour;
  • passionate about children and their learning;
  • highly competent in writing and speaking English.
