What skills and experience we're looking for
Wilcombe Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to work as part of our committed and dedicated team of support staff. Wilcombe is a vibrant, busy school, with a warm and welcoming staff who strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for their pupils. Recently judged “Good” by Ofsted, staff have high ambitions for the families they serve.
We are actively seeking to recruit a member of staff with the vision and resilience to support pupils with a variety of need in overcoming their barriers to learning. If you are reliable, enthusiastic, a good communicator and can demonstrate that you have the relevant skills, training or experience to make a positive difference... then we would welcome an application from you. The successful applicant will work with individuals and small groups of children of all abilities, under the direction of the SENDCo, teacher or HLTA. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm.
