Teaching Assistant with Wrap Around Care - Level 3 job summary

St John’s CE Primary Academy wishes to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, all year round, in both our main school and wrap around facility.

The working hours are 6.45am to 1.15pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.

During term time the successful applicant will support in our Wrap Around care facility, Little Saints Before School Club, then moving into the main school during normal school hours to support in our Nursery or Early Years classrooms.

During school holidays the role will be based working in the holiday club.

The post requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Post holders will be expected to work all year round and an annual leave entitlement will be given, which will be taken during some school holiday periods.

The position is subject to a DBS disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and other pre-employment checks.
