Teaching Assistant (within a Mainstream Autism Base) job summary
Would you like a fulfilling job where you will be making a real difference? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Teaching Assistant team at Oldbury Park Primary School. This important role will involve working 1:1 and with small groups in both the Mainstream Autism Base and the mainstream school supporting the learning and wellbeing of our children. This is an interesting and rewarding post for the right candidate. Applicants may be experienced Teaching Assistants looking for further opportunity or someone looking for a career change.

The ideal candidate will be:
- Confident creating and maintaining positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons in a variety of subjects (with support where needed)
- Supportive of our school ethos and the wide aims of the Central Region Schools Trust
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
