Teaching Assistant job summary
• Do you have a commitment to ensuring all pupils access and flourish through an education of the highest quality?
• Are you able to support children with meeting their physical and emotional needs?
• Are you able to support our classroom teachers to raise standards, working with pupils with varying additional needs?
• Do you exhibit an approach to behaviour management that works with pupils' strengths and supports them to meet our high expectations?
• Do you have experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, attachment disorders or Acute Childhood Trauma?
• Are you interested in working with children for whom English is an additional language?
We are seeking candidates with GCSE (or equivalent) English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above, who hold positive values, can work as part of a team and have experience of being a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 or 3.
Hours: Up to 27.75 hours per week
Contracts: 1 year Fixed Term in the first instance.
Grade: TA2 5-6 £19,312-£19,698 pro rota per annum
Location: Witton Middle School Old Coach Road Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, WR9 8BD
Closing Date: Monday 4th October 2021 @ 9:00am
