What skills and experience we're looking for
Poplar Farm is a new school which opened in September 2018. We are a warm, caring, inclusive and vibrant school where pupils are at the heart of every decision we make. Poplar Farm pupils are happy and confident, they are problem solvers, open minded, resilient and motivated to learn. We have a generous school site, with creative, bespoke learning areas both inside and outside.
The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

This role would allow the right candidate to build on their existing knowledge and skills whilst being able to flourish in a progressive and caring school.
The successful candidate will be a passionate teaching assistant who:
- Can confidently and effectively support teaching in the classroom, and lead small groups.
- Is efficient and well organised with skills and talents to improve the learning of children.
- Has a caring and positive attitude.
- Has excellent communication skills and is approachable for all children, staff and parents.
- Has the ability to promote the school’s values.
- Can support the teachers in providing outstanding provision.
