We are looking for a candidate who:

While the role is intended to be for our enhanced provision for the foreseeable future, it will be a standard teaching assistant contract and the successful candidate could be deployed elsewhere in the school in the future. However, there are no current plans for this.
What the school offers its staff
From 1st September 2026,we are looking for a full-time Level 2 teaching assistant to work in our enhanced provision. This is a small class of fabulous children with additional needs who are working on a specific curriculum and who benefit from working away from a full class of children. Typically, there are six to eight children in the provision and the successful candidate will be working with a teacher and a Level 3 teaching assistant to help meet the needs of the children. This will include personal and intimate care as needed.
This is a tremendously exciting time in the life of our school as Beeches Infant and Junior Schools will amalgamate on 1st September 2026. The schools have always worked well together and we are looking forward to merging our two friendly, professional and talented teams into one.
Beeches Primary School will be a three-form entry school catering for children from Reception to Year 6. We are on a shared site with Arena Academy, Priestley Smith Specialist School and Perry Beeches Nursery School. We enjoy excellent working relationships with all our partner schools and are active members of the Perry Barr consortium of schools.
