Lower Fields Primary Academy is located 2 miles from the centre of Bradford. We are a 2 form entry school catering for 420 pupils from Reception to Year Six. In addition, we have a 26 place Nursery with morning and afternoon sessions. Our school has a well-earned and established reputation in the community as a caring place of learning where all pupils receive a high quality education.
Lower Fields Primary Academy was created in September 2000 on the site of an existing middle school. This has provided us with a larger than average building, set in extensive and exciting grounds. As a school we offer our pupils a rich and relevant curriculum with a range of stimulating experiences built in throughout the year. This is supported by our fantastic outdoor space which offers pupils the chance to: perform in our ampitheatre, go pond dipping in the wildlife area, build dens in the woodland and enjoy whole days of outdoor learning in the Kinesthetic Park. In addition we have an orchard, polytunnel and grow beds where we grow a wide variety of produce to be used in our kitchen such as: apples, pears, plums, grapes, figs, potatoes, carrots and cabbage!
