What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Team Leader of English with the vision, drive and energy to play a major role in the development of the department. The successful candidate will be a role model for the team, leading by example in all aspects of school life, developing a strong team to ensure the best curriculum offer possible for our students.

Like us, you know that English underpins every aspect of daily living. You recognise that by sharing a range of inspiring texts and sharpening the language skills of students, you can release their creativity, enable them to find their own voices and set their imaginations free. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across key stages, someone who can bring out the best in every child and make all aspects of the English curriculum engaging.

The successful candidate will have a meaningful opportunity to shape the future direction of the department and will benefit from the support of an experienced staff body, as well as access to extensive training.
