Shenley Brook End School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of PE to lead our successful department with an ability to deliver high quality lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical education, committed to inspiring students of all abilities and eager to develop innovative approaches that promote participation, performance and well being. As Head of PE, you will play a key role shaping the vision for sport within our school community and supporting colleagues to deliver excellence

The ideal candidate will:

Have a passion for teaching PE and motiving young people to lead active, healthy lives

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach engaging lessons at Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups

Show strong leadership skills with the vision to develop PE provision across the school

Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students

Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
