What skills and experience we're looking for
At the Quest we know that having great people is our biggest asset and we work very hard to make sure that the posts we offer, the professional development we provide and the environment we create are the cornerstones of a highly successful Academy on a journey from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.
We opened our sixth form, Quest6 in 2012 and moved into stunning new buildings in 2014, providing the very best facilities for our staff and students.
We are a very successful Academy. We have doubled in size since we opened, are regularly oversubscribed and achieve excellent results in all key stages.
We have been rated Good in all areas by Ofsted in both 2015 and 2018 and are now on our journey to being outstanding.
We have an exciting opportunity to lead the continuing development of our highly successful MFL Faculty. The successful candidate will have experience of curricular leadership and the passion for the education of our wonderful students in MFL. They will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic faculty comprised of a mixture of experienced and early career teachers. We welcome applicants with either French or Spanish as all our students study one of these to KS3- with most taking them to GCSE, and some to A-level.
We value our staff, we have first rate professional development recognised by the CPLD Gold Quality Mark and have created a purposeful campus where we work hard and work together to achieve excellence inside and outside of the classroom, valuing academic achievement and personal growth.
