Technology Technician job summary

We are looking to appoint a flexible and motivated Technology Technician to support the teaching of Technology at all key stages from February 2026. Candidates should have the following experience :

• preparing materials for practical lessons
• maintaining equipment in the Technology Department
• maintain a clean working environment
• monitor safe and secure storage of both equipment and materials
• attend and engage in professional development training
• have a good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
• good communication skills
• previous experience of working in a school or college environment is desirable with knowledge of CAD, laser cutters, 2D draw and Google sketch up

St. John Fisher Catholic High School is an 11-18 comprehensive school with a rich Catholic ethos. There are 820 students on roll including the Sixth Form.
