This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and creative Design and Technology Department where no two days are the same. As a Technology Technician, you’ll play a key role in shaping exciting, hands-on learning experiences for students in Textiles and Food Technology lessons. Whether you're supporting lesson demonstrations, helping run after-school clubs, or ensuring our workshops are safe and well-stocked, your contribution will have a direct impact on student success.
You’ll gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment, working closely with passionate teachers and enthusiastic students. From managing resources and ordering materials to learning how to maintain specialist equipment, this role offers a great mix of practical and administrative work. Full training will be provided, especially in health and safety procedures, allowing you to develop new skills along the way.
If you're organised, a great communicator, and have an interest in technology or design, this role could be the perfect fit. Bring your energy, creativity, and sense of humour – and put your skills to great use over a four-day working week.

Situated in the leafy Chilterns and within easy reach of Central London, Highcrest is culturally and academically diverse and is the only academy in Buckinghamshire that caters for students of ‘all abilities’.
