Temporary Media Studies Teacher job summary

We are seeking a qualified Media Studies teacher to join our successful Media Studies department for a short-term position to cover a temporary absence. The role will mainly involve teaching A Level and particularly the OCR specification. We’ll provide clear guidance on the content to be covered, and our outstanding department will offer additional support.

Temporary Media Studies Teacher

FTE 0.4 (Monday - Wednesday)

Commencing January 2026

The successful candidate should:

  • Have experience of teaching Media Studies, ideally to A Level
  • Be a strong classroom practitioner with an enthusiasm for their subject
  • Be a team player working closely with the Director of Faculty, and joint Head of Media Studies, to support classes during their regular teacher’s absence
