What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint a lively and talented teacher of Science at this popular and successful 13–18 Academy. The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the whole-ability range at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and those who are newly qualified. We are committed to staff wellbeing and this post is suitable for those looking for flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will join an outstanding and forward-thinking faculty where progress and attainment are significantly above national average. We welcome applications from specialists in any science discipline.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with infectious enthusiasm who is able to communicate clearly, is sensitive to the needs of young adults and has the ability to use initiative and vision to encourage others. We expect the person to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
