What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed Teaching Assistant – Level 2 for our fully inclusive, diverse and friendly school. This role will generally be working on a one to one basis with a child with significant special education needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge and experience of working with children who have special educational needs
  • Demonstrates a commitment to helping children achieve their very best
  • Relates well to children and has good behaviour management skills
  • Is able to work independently and confidently with small groups of children
  • Is flexible to work where required within school

Hunter’s Bar Infant School is situated two miles south-west of the centre of the city and is a popular and lively school with a very diverse pupil profile.
