What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a level 3 teaching assistant to work in year 6. As a TA L3 you will compliment teachers’ delivery of the curriculum working in a variety of roles: some supporting individuals or small groups with SEND or international new arrivals; delivering and leading interventions and supporting learning of groups within a classroom setting and also ad hoc cover in teacher absence delivering pre planned lessons to the class.

-provide personal care and support for students, as required

-assist with the planning and delivery of continuous provision to promote communication

1 x Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 3, Start Date September 2025.

31.25 hours per week 8.450am-3.30pm with half an hour lunch break. Staff undertake a 30-minute lunch time supervision of children each day.

Grade 5 points 12-17. Annual salary £20,041-£21,740. Pay award pending.

The Governing Body of Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a Temporary Level 3 Teaching Assistant to cover the sabbatical leave of a member of staff for one year.

Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a large, multi-cultural primary school situated in Rochdale. The School currently has 715 children from 2 to 11 years of age.
