The Bridge Manager job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Bridge Manager (32.5 hrs per week, term time plus 3 additional days) to join our team at Howden School. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

About the Role
As The Bridge Manager you will work alongside the Pastoral Team and SENDCo to deliver academic and behaviour modification programmes to learners in the Bridge as identified. Ensuring a successful re-integration back into mainstream learning is possible within an identified time schedule. You will deliver tailored interventions to support SEND students with behavioural challenges, promoting positive behaviour and engagement and facilitate the development of self-regulation and reflective skills among SEND students to encourage responsible decision-making. Thus ensuring every student can reach their true potential.
About You
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level 4 (or equivalent) in both English and Maths, be IT literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of behaviour modification techniques/strategies, knowledge of SEN Code of Practice and understanding of welfare matters as well as safeguarding and child protection and be able to establish good professional relationships.
