The Gateway Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. If you are a current HOD or subject leader of Music looking for your next role or maybe you are a highly experienced teacher who has a great understanding of how to run a department and would be keen to take that next step.
The successful candidate will be passionate about education for all students regardless of background and will, above all, be an inspirational practitioner. You will be first and foremost an excellent teacher who can engage and inspire his or her students with their passion for the subject, happy to model lessons for colleagues and someone who is keen to pass on their skills and knowledge is a must.
