Forest Bridge School is a nurturing, inclusive specialist provision for autistic children and young people. We are proud to champion neurodiversity and are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and forward-thinking Therapies Lead to join our team and guide the development of our multidisciplinary therapies provision.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a qualified therapist—such as an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or another allied health professional—with leadership experience or the ambition to grow into a leadership role. You will play a key part in shaping a strengths-based, person-centered therapeutic approach that celebrates each pupil’s individuality and supports their wellbeing, communication, and engagement.
At Forest Bridge School, we value collaboration, curiosity, and creativity. Our therapies team works closely with educators, families, and external professionals to co-create meaningful, inclusive support strategies that empower autistic learners to thrive. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, a commitment to neuro-affirming practice, and a passion for working in partnership with others.
We are looking for someone who is reflective, innovative, and excited by the opportunity to lead a team that is continually learning and evolving. You will have the opportunity to contribute to whole-school development, influence strategic direction, and ensure therapy is embedded meaningfully across the school day as well as at home.
We warmly encourage prospective applicants to arrange a tour of the school prior to applying, to gain a deeper understanding of our ethos and approach.
For further information or an informal conversation about the role, please contact Aarti Ramachandran, Head of Therapies, at ARamachandran@forestbridgeschool.org.uk.
Join us in creating a therapeutic environment where autistic children and young people are understood, respected, and supported to flourish.
Apply now and be part of a passionate team making a lasting difference.
