What skills and experience we're looking for

Therapy Teaching Assistant

(for physical & functional therapy)

£22,240 + £1,198 SEN allowance pa (pay award pending)

Plus a £100 welcome payment on successful completion of your 6 months’ probation

35 hours a week 8.45am to 4.30pm Monday and Tuesday

Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.45am to 4.15pm,

Fridays 8.45am to 3.45pm, term time only

You will support the embedding and delivery of universal and targeted therapy in school, under the direction of the School Based Therapy Team. This includes working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, following processes, upskilling class staff, delivering a range of therapeutic intervention, and organising assistive equipment for sensory, physical and functional outcomes.

You must:

  • Meet the person specification
  • Have experience of working with young people in the education/care/health sectors
  • Have experience In ICT
  • Have good communication skills
  • Good levels of literacy & numeracy

  • Be able to meet key accountabilities set out in Job Description

  • Have good organisational skills
