40 Weeks (Time time plus weeks - additional 10 days to be worked over the school closure periods)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Training School Hub Senior Administrator. This key role will manage the administrative activity of the Teaching School Hub inclusive of reporting, collaborating with and advising the CPTSH Lead on all aspects of programme administration.
The Opportunity
- Accountable for ensuring that administration processes are carried out efficiently and accurately in line with Department for Education (DofE) guidance and requirements. The role holder will need to exercise initiative and make decisions without ready access to their line manager who will often be out at other Trust and regional sites
- Responsible for developing and monitoring administration practices to ensure compliance with DofE and Lead Provider contractual requirements and deploying strategies to update such processes as required
- Accountable for the overall management of administration processes including but not limited to; data accuracy, adherence to timescales and processing of early careers teacher registrations. Leavers, transfers and completers.
- Responsible for liaising with other teaching school hubs to share/collect data for early career teachers who have moved school partway through their programmes.
The ideal candidate
- Five GCSEs including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Co-ordination of training programmes and events
- Experience of updating and editing websites using a content management system
- Working knowledge of a range of software packages. Especially word processing and Excel
- Ability to handle a varied workload and prioritise accordingly
