What skills and experience we're looking for

Sidestrand Hall School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Transition Co-ordinator and Careers Lead who will work closely with our teachers to support students and their families’ at all key stages, to prepare for the transition from school to college or other activities and to support them to work towards achieving the adult lives that they want.

The right candidate will relish the challenge of working with our pupils ensuring they are able to plan for the future. The post requires an empathetic and practical person who can understand the needs of families and students, and can then plan effective and personalised support for them. You will be a highly effective team player, an excellent communicator who will champion the causes of young people and their families.

The successful applicant will preferably have experience of working in schools or a careers environment. A working knowledge of Gatsby benchmarks would be beneficial.
