Trips & Lettings Officer - temporary (maternity cover) job summary

We are seeking to recruit a temporary Trips & Lettings Officer, to cover maternity leave from 1st September 2026. You will provide financial support to the Finance Manager and the Assistant Principal, working as part of the wider core services team; you will support with the organisation of school trips and coordinate the hire of the academy’s facilities to external hirers. This position would suit an individual who is supportive and enjoys the challenge of a busy and varied role. The successful applicant will be a team player, will be flexible in their approach and will be willing to undertake relevant training. As this role is based within a busy school environment, the successful candidate will be an active part of daily school life. Alongside the key responsibilities in this role, you will regularly interact with students in a professional and approachable manner. The position also includes contributing to first aid duties and whole‑school duties such as lunchtime supervision, helping to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere around the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a vibrant educational community and is confident engaging with young people.
