What skills and experience we're looking for
The Heart of Mercia Multi Academy Trust, based at Hereford Sixth Form College, is recruiting a Data & Technology Analyst to support both the College’s MIS team and the wider Trust Technology Strategy.
This split role offers variety — ranging from managing student data and systems locally to contributing to strategic initiatives across data, cyber security, and infrastructure. We’re looking for someone with experience working with data-driven systems, strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll need to be adaptable, proactive in learning new technologies, and comfortable managing shifting priorities. You should thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy solving problems with precision and creativity.
The role is primarily based at Hereford Sixth Form College, with expectations of occasional travel to other academies in the Trust. Whilst the role is advertised as full-time, in-person - requests for flexible and/or part-remote arrangements are welcome. The role is initially a 1-year fixed term contract from the start date, but there is the possibility of extension by mutual agreement.
