Field Lane is a welcoming, one-form entry primary school for children aged 3 to 11, deeply rooted in our local community and situated in the heart of Batley. Our vision, "Together We Learn," succinctly captures the culture and ethos that defines our school. We have established practices that empower children, parents/carers, and our staff team to believe in themselves, cultivate their creativity, and make a positive impact on the world. Everyone feels a sense of belonging to something greater. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspiring Trust Headteacher to lead on the strategic direction of the school, on the next phase of its journey. This post is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking leader, passionate about making a difference to the lives of young learners and are excited to join a dynamic, forward-thinking school community. The Trust and Governing Board are looking for an inspirational, learner focussed individual who will successfully lead Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School in the next stage of its development, and be a committed member of the Trust Headteacher network group in a growing, high performing Trust.
Batley Multi Academy Trust and Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School are highly committed to the continual improvement of the quality of education and ultimately excellent outcomes, both academically and more widely, for all our young people. The new Trust Headteacher will be at the heart of this school improvement work, working closely with our Trust team, other school leaders, colleagues, families and most importantly with our young people themselves.
