Trust HR Administrative Assistant job summary

Trust HR Administrative Assistant – 16.5 hours per week worked 9.15am to 2.45pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Term Time only (39 weeks). Grade B – Step 1 Actual Annual Salary £9,189.00 (equivalent to a full time salary of £24,027). Fixed term from 1st September 2025 to 31st May 2026 as we implement and embed new systems and processes.

For the right candidate we can discuss flexibility around the start and finish times, for instance, to fit around school drop off and pick up making it an ideal role for someone looking to return to work following a break.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our Trust HR Department as an administrative assistant. This role is fundamental to ensure the smooth running of the Trust’s HR and Recruitment processes.

Applicants should be able to communicate well verbally, have a good standard of numeracy and literacy and an eye for detail and accuracy. Experience of using Word and Excel is essential.

The role requires discretion as well as organisation, creativity and initiative. We require a professional, personable and committed person who can work both independently and as part of a team to manage our school systems effectively. The successful candidate will have the ability to respond to fast paced deadlines whilst remaining calm, cool and collected.
