Thank you for your interest in this vacancy.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at an exciting point in its development and provides an opening for a keen, highly organised and talented  HR professional to become a key  member of our central support services team. Our HR team provides dedicated  and tailored professional  support and guidance across the Trust on a full  range of people related issues.   

The successful candidate will provide the overall strategic and operational leadership and management for all aspects of Human Resources in the Trust.  Working within the central team, this post will provide high quality support to schools.  In addition, it will offer the chance to develop, lead and manage staff, develop high quality systems and services whilst ensuring  that resources and systems are effectively deployed to meet the educational aims of the Trust. 

The main place of work will be at ALT Central Office, however the post holder must be able to travel and be prepared to work flexibly according to the needs of the business.

Hours of Work:  37 Hours Per Week, Full Year

Salary Grade: Grade N

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals 

  • Support for the HR Team in the delivery of the strategy across the Trust

  • Manage complex employee relations casework  

  • Support the efficient and effective recruitment of staff across the Trust

  • Produce management reports and undertake statistical analysis, reporting HR metrics
