Trust Lead: Inclusive Practice, Research and Outreach job summary
Lead inclusive change. Train others to do the same. Extend your reach.
We are seeking a dynamic and expert leader to drive Trust Led: Inclusive Practice, Research and Outreach. An ambitious programme that places impactful training, evidence-informed practice and sector-wide impact at the heart of our mission.
This role is about influence, scale and transformation. You will design and deliver high-quality professional learning and outreach that supports colleagues across our Trust and beyond—to embed inclusive practice, improve outcomes for learners with SEND, and strengthen systems of support across schools.
What you’ll do:
- Lead on the design and delivery of outreach and training programmes that support schools and professionals at every stage of their journey toward inclusive excellence. (mainstream and specialist sector)
- Deliver high-impact CPD, coaching and facilitation—both in person and virtually—to share best practice, support implementation, and build capacity across settings.
- Work in partnership with schools, local authorities, universities and specialist organisations to extend our reach and develop a sector-leading offer.
- Translate research into practice, curating and co-creating evidence-informed tools, models and strategies.
- Build networks of inclusive practice across the Trust, creating opportunities for collaboration, innovation and shared learning.
What we’re looking for:
- A highly credible trainer and facilitator, with experience delivering impactful professional learning that leads to real change in classrooms and leadership.
- Deep knowledge of SEND, inclusive pedagogy, and school improvement.
- A confident relationship-builder who can engage senior leaders, classroom staff and external stakeholders alike.
- A strategic thinker who can scale good practice and contribute to long-term system change.
- Passionate about equity, driven by evidence, and ambitious for all learners.
Why this role? Why now?
This is more than a leadership role—it’s a platform. You'll be shaping the training and outreach that others rely on to transform their own schools. You’ll be supporting colleagues across our trust and beyond, building momentum for inclusive change that’s deeply rooted in research and realised through practice.
