Trust Operations Manager job summary
The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to support the Director Of Operations and the Central Team in the smooth running of the Trust’s central function and activities.
We are a Multi-Academy Trust of 15 Primary Schools and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest district. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), Teaching School and Family and Children Support Services, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. Formed in 2018, we are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.
Pattern of Hours: 25 hours a week, 41 weeks per year (38 weeks plus 3 by agreement during the school holidays )
Monday to Friday 9.30 - 2.30, preferably working a Wednesday in the office. Flexibility over days can be discussed at the interview
The role will be based centrally; however, travelling between academies within the Trust is required.
Your responsibilities include:
To act as liaison for Trust-wide contracts
To oversee Health and Safety and Risk Management
To oversee Compliance
To oversee the Trust’s Estates Strategy
Experience in these areas is desirable, but not essential; we are seeking a highly organised person who is proactive and solution-focused. Where necessary, training in procurement best practice will be given to ensure economies of scale are achieved for all member schools in the Trust. This is a unique opportunity for the right person.
