Trust Performing Arts Technician job summary
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Trust Performing Arts Technician to join our team at the Laurus Trust on a full time basis (37 hours per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you're considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.
As a Trust Performing Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the creative and technical aspects of our Performing Arts provision across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include:
- Set Design & Stage Construction: Assisting with the design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances, and promotional events.
- Technical Support: Providing lighting, AV, and technical assistance for events, assemblies, and performances.
- Curriculum Support: Supporting the delivery of courses and performances within the Performing Arts Departments across Laurus Trust schools.

- To deliver high quality support and technical production services for drama, music and other performance activities across Laurus Trust schools
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent and minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology, and AV equipment.
- A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
